It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kay Drywater of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Kay farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kay is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Drywater and Bessie Drywater (Flynn); her nephew Joshua Caughman; her niece Lisa Morgan; and her brother-in-law Billie Deardueff.
She is survived by: her daughter Mandy Drywater; her grandchildren, Garren Mink and Kinzley Harrington; and her sisters, Deardeuff, Linda Christie and Jerrie Caughman (Alan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home (1506 N Grand Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hart Funeral Home- Tahlequah (1506 N Grand Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464).
