He was predeceased by: his parents, Nophaie James Long and Darlene Long; and his brother Nophaie James Long. He is survived by: his uncles, Steve Long (Margie) and J. C. Long (Charlene); and his cousins, Stephanie Ogden, Deborah Baldridge, Jeff Long, Robbie Long, Becky Long and Angie Long.
