We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2025, at the age of 79, Shirley Smith of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvel Edward Thompson and Ola Imadell Thompson (Powers); her husband James C. Smith; her brother Jerry Thompson; and her sister-in-law Sue Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shari (Bud Sides), Regina Farrow of Ft. Gibson, OK and Debra (Robert Winfield); her grandchildren, Latasha (Charles), Kevin (Alana), Nahtanha (Marcel), Cory (Vanessa), Kyle (Bethany), Kalun, Claburn, Tyler (Alyssa) and Chris (Cora); her great grandchildren, Alex, Sean (Nevaeh), Tristan, Jackson, Dakota, Ryder, Raegyn, Bodhi, Serenity, Landon, Abby, Avyien and Brooklyn; and her brothers, Billy (Wanda Thompson), Bobby Thompson and Tony Thompson.
Viewing was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hart Funeral Home- Tahlequah (1506 N Grand Ave, Tahlequah, OK 74464). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Tahlequah City Cemetery.
