With solemn reverence, we commemorate Virgil Johnson of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on June 7, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lee Johnson and Gladys Irene Johnson (Mullins); his siblings, Elaine Imogene Johnson, Donald Eugene Johnson, Kenneth Lee Johnson, Peggy Jean Johnson, Raymond E Johnson and Dana Maureen Johnson; and his grandson Andrew Lee Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Johnson (Cade); his brother Garry Lynn Johnson (Claudia); his children, Cynthia L. Bancroft (Jimmy), Robin R. Kedroske and Virgil Lee Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Bancroft Jr., Curtis Bancroft, Joseph Bancroft, Natasha Johnson, Samantha Johnson and Sierra Aguilar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as great and grand nieces & nephews.
The inurnment will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Fort Smith Veteran Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
