She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Newsome and Gladys Newsome; her grandmother Ernie; her husbands, Ernest Steward and Bill Zuker; her daughter Peggy Nabors; and her great grandchildren, Kassidee Sheppard, Wyatt, Nolan Garrison and Nathaniel Holt.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Deena; her children, Patsy Darneal (Clinton) of Dale, Jeannette Steward of Shawnee, Mike Steward (Gay) of McLoud, Loyd Steward (Becky) of Bethel Acres, Terry Steward (Cathy) of Bethel Acres and Tim Steward (Vicki) of Dale; and her brother Walter Laymon. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has designated that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, which she donated to for many years.
