She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar Giddens and Vera Giddens (Edney); her husband Larry Beets; her sister Sandra Godwin; and her children-in-law, Robby Sweetin and Patti Beets.

She is survived by : her children, Terry Lynn Beets of Apache, OK, Jeanne Marie Sweetin and Jawanai "Jo" Baggett; and her grandchildren, Taryn, Kendric Reed, Lee Blackard, Anthony, Ashley Blackard, Jesse, Sierra Baggett, Brook, Brent Nelson, Justin and Gabby Sweetin. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home (210 W Walnut St, Tecumseh, OK 74873). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
