He is survived by: his children, Shana Hawks (Becoy), David Hood and Jennifer Lowery (Johnny); his siblings, Clifford, Terry and Joyce; his grandchildren, Belcy Lowery (Bryan), Joseph Hood (Lesley), Joshua Hood (Hattie), Roy Hood, Brandon Herndon, Brandy Herndon (Celina), David Herndon (Miranda), Phillip Herndon (Kylie), Jimmy Lowery (Autumn), Heather Magar (Jake), Daniel Hawks and Vanessa Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Breea Hood, Lakrisha Hagerman, Laythan Lowery, Jeremiah, Jake, Hayleigh Hood, Joshua, Mason Hood, Julieanna Herndon, Waylon, Walker Herndon, Easton Herndon, Aubrey, Leia, Cade Lowery, Maddox, Remi and Kinsley Magar.
