She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Vern Tippin and Gertrude Anna Tippin (Smith); her husband Leland Upton; her son Patrick Upton; and her siblings, Bernie, Vernon, Everett Ray, Genevive and Genevia.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeff (Daphine Sparks) and Steve (Lynn Upton); her daughter-in-law Linda Upton (Tim Upton); and her siblings-in-law, LaDonna King of Tecumseh, Maggie Upton of Carmichael, California, Larry, Lori Upton of Norman, Oklahoma, Garry Upton and Rhonda Gwinn of Galveston. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
