He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tenison Slaton Sr. and Janet Sims Slaton; his sister Deborah Ann Thompkins; and his son Preston Kemp Slaton. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Williams Wiley; his grandchildren, Tristan, Ashton, Zain, Kason, Sasha, Kaitlyn, Jadyn, Jarid, Taylor, Dillon, Rusty, Randy, Hailey and Madison; and his brothers, William Tenison "Buddy" Slaton Jr. (Diann) of Dallas, TX and Dwight Edward Slaton (Ann) of Montgomery, TX.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and a large host of loving friends.
