Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Virgel for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Rose and Clarence Rose; his wife Betty; his sons, Virgel and Johnny Sr.; his grandson Mitchell; and his great grandchild Paige.
He is survived by: his children, Wesley Rose of Guthrie, David Rose of Terlton, Timothy Isbell of Terlton, Ollie Blank of Guthrie and Donna of Tulsa. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and one more great-great-grandchild on the way, along with brothers, sisters, extended family.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel - Sapulpa (400 E Teel Rd, Sapulpa, OK 74066). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oakhill Cemetery (1594 State Hwy 48, Mannford, OK 74044).
