He is survived by: his wife Irene Burris; his children, Andrea Burris McClure (Stuart), Alicia Ann Burris and Jeremy Burris (Vernie); his grandchildren, Andrew Simmons (Rachel) and Britnay Simmons; his great grandchildren, Eleanor, Evan and Wesley; his siblings, Saundra Depew and Wayne Burris (Carol) of Sapulpa; and his daughter E. J. Burris.
Viewing was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the R. E. Shearwood Memorial Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Texanna Assembly of God.
