He is survived by: his wife Judy Eakins; his sons, Don (Debbie) and Ken (Kathy); his granddaughters, Sonya Sirk (Adam), Katrina Head (Kenny), Dana Thomason and Kristen Garza (Gustavo); his great grandchildren, Sean, Kylie Head, Lily Thomason, Elena, Madelyn, Gustavo Garza, Everett, Harrison Sirk and Cooper; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Thomason, Jill Stewart (Roy), Betty Eakins and Harley Eakins (Cody).
The family suggests memorials be made to the Hydro Fire Department or First Christian Church.
