He was predeceased by: his parents, J. V. Rose and Mildred Rose (Eberle); his wife Maxine; his son Jerry Don Rose; his siblings, Robert Rose and Stella Mae Wynn; and his granddaughter Laura Kathryn Parris.
He is survived by: his daughters, Frankie Parris (Jeff) of Dallas and Jennifer Keever (Gabriel) of Yukon, Oklahoma; his daughter-in-law Cindy Rose of Plano, Texas; his sister Jo Ann Davidson; and his grandchildren, Jared Sturgess, Erica Sturgess-McCarty (Jeremy), Lacy Senato (Michael), Megan Mercer (Jon), Melinda Parris and Elizabeth Troncoso (Giovanni). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
