He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Freeman Keel and Hilda Keel (Murphy); his son Zach Keel; and his siblings, Hattie Chastain, Ilene Davis, J. B. Keel, Jerry Keel and Tommy Keel.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Keel (Coleman); his sons, Johnny Coleman of Ponca City and David Rudek of Choctaw, Oklahoma; his siblings, Don Keel of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Jefferson Keel (Carol) of Durant, Oklahoma, Dale Keel (Kathy) of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, Kathy Bethune of Ada and Virginia Sherwood of Madill, Oklahoma; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Coleman of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Jerry Coleman (Jan) of Midwest City, Kenny Coleman (Alicia) of Midwest City and Roy Coleman (Shelly) of Carrollton, Texas; and his grandchildren, Makani, Malani, Ho'olai, Iwi of Ponca City, Avery and Tyler Rudek of Choctaw, Oklahoma.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Danny's name to Shriners Hospitals for Children to honor his memory and continue his legacy of kindness.
