Joe left this world on April 29, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, Skeet Lewis and Mattie Ellen Lewis (Bell); his son Joe Allen Lewis Jr.; and his wife Cecilia Lewis. He is survived by : his son Christopher S. Lewis; his siblings, Jerry Lewis, Janellen Zink and Cynthia Paul; and his grandchildren, Skeet Lewis and Sadie Lewis.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Cemetery (Oklahoma's 2nd Congressional District, OK).
