She was predeceased by: her parents, John Arends and Gertrude Tammen Arends; her husband David A. Rence; and her sisters, Margaret Lutes, Lucille Tingley, Josephine Arends and Ruth Casper.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Foss (Jeff); her granddaughter Elise Foss; and her daughter Marianne Gutierrez (Marco).
