He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduards Polakovs and Edite Polakovs. He is survived by: his son David Polakovs; his granddaughter Laura; his sisters, Dagmar Walter and Maruta Languedoc; and the mother of his child Jeanette Harper Benda. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
