He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Harris and Etta Mae Harris (Serviss); and his siblings, Frank, Jim, Jack, Billy, Johnny Harris, Ruby Powers and Susie Bridges.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ahrens (Gene) of Welch and Dorothy Peterson of Enid.
