She is survived by: her son Melvin Douglas Byrd (Amy Ann); her grandchildren, Joshua Roberts, Tyler Roberts, Melvin Byrd II, Patric Byrd (Catherine) and Makayla (Taylor); her great grandchild Harvey; her nephew Joey Russo (Jennifer); her great-niece Amber; and her great-nephew Jasper.
