“Dearest Sherry and Family, Mike and Dan and your Families – My sisters, Leslie and Janet, and I are so saddened by your loss. Our mother, Lois Harris Otey, always looked forward to Bryan and Sherry’s visits over the years in Dallas. Mother was always so uplifted when you came calling! We will always remember Bryan’s sweetness and how proud he was of his children and grandchildren. We have fond memories of family vacations in Follett and the pranks that our cousins would play on us city kids.”

“Sending love and prayers to Sherry and family and to my cousins Mike and Dan and families. I am Melba (Harris) Schug's daughter and Bryan's cousin from Colorado. My sister Sara and I, and family, were blessed to have Bryan at our mother's funeral in Follett. I'm sorry we did not gather more often, but he was a wonderful, kind and most endearing man. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.”

Bill Call wrote a sympathy message

“Bryan was the most fun; sensitive, caring person that anybody could ever meet. He was able to show compassion in so many ways, he was truly a humble, nice, person that we should all try to emulate . Two examples are that he was a devoted reading tutor, and a genealogy researcher for his wife’s family, and mine, the Call’s ,that weren’t even his immediate family. Love to my cousin Sherry, her family, and all those who have been a part of Bryan and Sherry’s lives😍”
