We are sad to announce that, on November 14, 2025, at the age of 87, Burl Eugene Martindale (Tulsa, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Burl may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Burl touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Martindale and Levana Martindale (Powell); his wife Sue (Wooldridge); and his siblings, Dorothy Mastin (Kenneth), Viola Hawkins (Red), Frank Martindale (Gerri), Wanda Houser (Paul) and Alice Martindale.
He is survived by: his sons, Burl Meador and Mark Martindale; and his brother Merle (Janie). He is also survived by 2 granddaughters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
