He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Norman Hardin Sr. Read and Hazel Hardin (Schultz); his wife Martha B. Hardin; and his son-in-law Roger R. Owens. He is survived by: his children, Vicki S. Hardin Owens, Charles "Chuck" N. Hardin III (Pam), Wayne Smith (Frankie) and Dorene Hostler (James). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, extended family.
