He was predeceased by: his mother Jo Anna Carter (Michener); his grandparents, Mary, Bill Stephens, Chester "Bud" Michener, Willard "Walt", Inez Carter and Juanita Madrid; his aunts, Donna Steffens and Linda Parrish; and his uncle Tony Michener.
He is survived by: his father Theodore Carter; his wife Kristin; his sister Stephanie Wiseman (Amy); his nephews, Aaron and Evan (Alexandra); his sister Candice Stinson (Justin); and his nieces and nephews, Shayla and Olivia.
