She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bessie Beatrice Record and Herman Cardell Fairchild; her siblings, Emma Fairchild, Beverly Lee and Loretta Lee; her sons, Cordell Chambers (Diane), Travis Chambers and Michael Chambers; her daughter-in-law Sheila Grimes; her grandchildren, Somm'r Jord'n, Alonzia, Aysia, Amber, Mekhi Banks, Marlese, Tazmia, Chevoynai, Kiave, Peyton and Paris; her stepfather Alonzo Thomas; and her former husband Ray Grimes. She was also cherished by her nieces and nephews, as well as a multitude of great-nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home & Crematory (2103 E 3rd St, Tulsa, OK 74104).
