He is survived by: his children, Becky Hernandez, David Nicholson (Wanda) and Mike Nicholson (Samantha); his fiancée Phyllis Powell; his grandchildren, Haley, Garrett, Devon, Danie, Aaron and Simone; and his sisters, Rhonda Curry and Kelly Nicholson.
