He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen "Rodney" Ross and Dorothy Ross (Meek); and his sister Nancy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Pam Ross; his son Rob Lillegard; his stepdaughter Amy Wilson (Ian); his grandchildren, Mary, Lana Wilson, Robert and Rylie Joe Lillegard; and his nephew Shawn Smith.
