He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Frances Flanagan Drake; his children, David Minter Drake Jr. (Kendra) and Katharyn Michelle Drake Majestic (David); and his sisters, Sarah Jeanneane Drake Carter (Bo) and Donna Sue Drake Catcher (Bill). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
