He was predeceased by: his parents, Mansel Chase and Sara Ehle May; his siblings, Patricia May Krebs and Richard "Dick" May; and his grandson Randall Keith May.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Debbie Cobb (Larry), Martin May (Tonya) and Jacquelyn Howard (Rich); and his stepdaughter Misty McCarty (Sandy). He is also survived by family includes four children, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
