He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wallace Wilburn and Doris Lucille Wilburn (Burris); his wife Sheila Knight; and his brothers, Jackie and Danny Wilburn.
He is survived by: his children, David Wilburn Jr. (Lori) of Milledgeville, GA, Tamara Newcomb (Darrell) of Broken Arrow and Jackie Wilburn of Altus; his siblings, Richard Wilburn (Kathy) of Pruitt City and Twana Parker of Norman; and his grandsons, Kolton, Cooper Wilburn, Fisher and Asa Newcomb.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Countyline First Baptist Church (65 Golf Course Rd, Healdton, OK 73438). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church (726 NW 4th St, Healdton, OK 73438).
