She is survived by: her significant other Charles Polk; her siblings, Jerry Patterson, Bob Martin, John Dowdy, Alan Martin (Helen), Janet Williams (Bob) and Sandy Richards (Harry); and her daughters, Marilyn Polk-Butler and Vavain Jackson (Nate). She is also survived by twenty-five nieces and nephews.
