He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Cook and Linda Cook; and his sister Juanita Harper. He is survived by: his sister Carla Chasteen; his brother-in-law Roger Chasteen; and his sibling's children, Shannon Harper, Selena Harper, Nicholas Harper and Evan Chasteen (Grace Chasteen). He is also survived by cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends who were his chosen family.
