He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse George Vance and Gladys May Vance (Michael); his wives, Bonnie Willis, Suzanne Pretz Vance and Mary Katherine Deal Vance; and his brothers, Jesse Vance, Jr. (June), Ernie Vance and Johnny Vance.
He is survived by: his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Laurie Vance; his daughter Gail; his son-in-law Steve Clyburn; his stepchildren, Kirk Martin, Cydney Walvoord, Rebecca Parkhurst, Ramona Gaddis, Ruth Perry and Robin Webb; his siblings, Jimmy Vance, Clifford Vance and Betty Rhyne; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Brewer, Shannon Galvan, Royce Clyburn, Ryan Brosnan and Stephen Jacob Vance. He is also survived by numerous other extended family members, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
