Denny Strickland Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denny Strickland (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away on May 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rogers N. Strickland and Betty Jean Strickland (Higdon); his sisters, Sarah Jane Strickland and Carol Jo Strickland; and his niece Alsweeterzan Strickland (Ali).

He is survived by: his wife Ginny Strickland; his sons, Jay Denny Strickland Jr., Whey Hem, Shane Strickland (Cindy), Cole Strickland (Erin) and Connor Strickland; his brother Rogers N. Strickland Jr. (Peg); his niece Jennifer; his great-nephews, Nathan and Daniel; his sisters, Joy Owens (Terry) and Elizabeth Herron; his siblings' child Ashley Barnes; his great-nephew Alex Herron; and also, Carol Jo's and Michael Denny Ussery.
