He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Loveless and Nora Loveless; his siblings, Wilmer, Bodie, Walter, Howard, Dorothy and Larry; his wife Peggy Ragland; and his brother Al (Katie).

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Kindred (Kip), Don Loveless Jr. (Jana), Diane Bradley (Gerald) and Cindy Huston.
