He is survived by: his wife Carol; his stepdaughter Brandy Burkett (Carol Cox); stepson Steven Burkett, stepdaughter Bridget McGee; five step-grandchildren; his mother Vivian Gomez; his sister Christy Chandler; and his half-siblings, Carl Cox and Ronda Edwards. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
