He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Swinney and Plesa A. Swinney (Chaney); his wife Helen L. Bolen; his daughters, Stacie Holloway and Jonna Swinney; and his siblings, Raymond, Buck, Sally, Renee, Georgia Mae and Virgie.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Swinney (Tracey), Tracie Inman and Donna Wickett (William); his grandchildren, Amiee Victory (Ryan), Kristen Ward (Travis), Alyssa Holloway, David Holloway (Amanda), Chelsea Wickett, Brian Wickett (Danielle), Donald Swinney, Dillon Swinney and Desaray Swinney; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Brody, Andrew, Whittney, Cora, Noah, Daniel, Lilly, Evan and Beamer.
