We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, at the age of 78, Donetta Brown in Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Wewoka, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Irma Maurine Adams (Sell); her siblings, Irma McKitrick, Orvale Smart and Francis Holden; and her son Dan Allen Brock.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd; her children, Deanna Cheek, Donald Brock and Darrell Brock; her siblings, John Adams, James Adams, Virginia Roark and Lynette Dustehoeff; her grandsons, Kenneth Casey Cheek, Mitchell Andrew Cheek and Darrell Michael Brock; and her great grandchildren, Dymas Nathanial Cheek, Mathios Cheek, McKynna Cobletz and Jacob Ryan Cheek. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home Chapel (1000 S Lombard Ln, Skiatook, OK 74070). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Known for her kindness and dedication, Donetta made significant contributions to her community as both a nurse and a cosmetologist, touching the lives of many through her professions.
