It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Marie Nelson (Tulsa, Oklahoma), born in Parsons, Kansas, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lum Salyers and Frances Salyers; and her spouse Jerry Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Nelson and Tony Nelson (Suzanne); her grandchildren, Sarah Donohue (Joel), Meredith Nelson and Jack Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Lucienne, Elias, James and Samuel Donohue. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Here’s a thought that came to me when I lost one of my brothers a year and a half ago that you might appreciate now, difficult as this is. The thought is that loss is the price we pay for love.
