She was predeceased by: her father Donald Claude Vaughan. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Ann Ferguson (Melton) of Catoosa; her brother Donald Claude Vaughan, II of Tulsa; her aunt Joyce Waterman of Wichita, KS; and her uncle Vernon Melton (Doris) of Adair, OK.
As she aged, she developed Parkinson's and later Alzheimer's, and she was able to move into a private home to provide the care and comfort needed, while still maintaining a fairly normal life.
