With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Stanton in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 4, 2026 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma Marie Payne and James Otis Adams; her siblings, Richard Adams and Dorothy Ann LaPorte (Adams); and her significant other Vernon'Vern'Dale Stanton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Lewis (late Bruce) of Georgetown, Ontario and Sherri Wingo of Tulsa; her grandchildren, Shalon of Georgetown, Ontario and Brandon (Gina) of Tulsa; and her great grandchildren, Dalanie of Tulsa and Braydon of Tulsa.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Doris' memory would be appreciated.
