Elaine K. Childers Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Elaine K. Childers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Elaine, born on October 16, 1949, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Mitchell Sims and Edith Wynell Sims (Harris); and her daughter Ginger Lopez. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Childers; her stepsons, Erron Davison and Bill Davison; her daughter-in-law Christy; her grandchildren, Aidan, Blake, Conner Lopez, Madie Devera, Levi, Isaac Davison and Jacob Davison; and her siblings, Sandra (Larry Birdwell), Jama (Charles Prucha), Debbie (Robbie Wright) and Richard (Pat Childers). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Baptist Church (19002 S Gordon Cooper Dr, Shawnee, OK 74801).
