He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Cleo Spears and Clara Lucena Spears (Mynear); his wife Betty Jean Spears (Romine); his daughter Lori; his siblings, Leslie Spears and Sylvia Rosenthal; his great-aunt Velma; and his uncle Gene LeMonnier.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, April Allen, Amber Parnell Newkirk (Jason), Zach Spears, Darren Ginn Victor (Jennifer) and Montana; his sisters, Cleta Collyer (Kirkpatrick) and Linda Morris; and his sister-in-law Jane Adams.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to First Baptist Church of Pawnee or the charity of your choice.
