He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Haney and Ida Ruth Haney (Wells); his brother David; and his wife Irvalene. He is survived by: his children, Scott Haney (Pat), Lisa Kurz (Ron) and Joe Haney; his grandsons, Daniel (Renata), Jon (Lindsey), Mike (Ruthie), Paul (Tatum) and Daris Mickle; his great grandchildren, Waylon, Ruby and Gawain Haney; his brother-in-law Tyson Cross (Leila); his niece Robbie Plas (Steve); his nephew Ty Cross (Wendy); Staci. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society at nmcrs.org, a cause close to Emmett's heart.
