He is survived by: his wife Susie Hancock; his children, Jim (Lisa), Fred (Lindsay Pulliam) and Carrie Hester; his grandchildren, Zac Simms, Lakyn Hester, Lily Hester, Shelby Simms and Garrett Simms; and his sisters, Linda Hightower (Floyd), Beth Riggins and Sally Franklin (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
