He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Fred William Sims Sr. and Helen Lillian Sims (Abbe). He is survived by: his former wife Carol C. Sims; his sons, Fred Sims (Johnna), Dr. Geoffrey Sims (Stephanie), David Sims (Heather) and Eric Sims; his grandchildren, Kaci Sims, Zack Sims, Logan Sims, Avery Sims, McKinley Thaggard, Trenton Sims, Triston Sims, Abby Sims and Catherine Sims; and his sister Sandra Reeve. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Skiatook or Skiatook Rotary.
