We bid farewell to Freddie Hugh Gibson (Tulsa, Oklahoma), born in Caldwell, Kansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2025 at the age of 78. Freddie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Hugh Gibson and Lula Pearl Gibson (Carter); his uncle J. W. Gibson; and his stepgrandson Dylan Nicholson. He is survived by: his wife Janice Gibson; his children, Sarah Carrison, Timothy Gibson (Jamell) and Daniel Gibson (Jesaca); his grandchildren, Anna Quarterson (Evan), Devin Carrison (Kristen), Lauren Dyer (Caleb), Sean Carrison, Donovan Nicholson (Emily), Kainon Gibson, Rhett Gibson, Ethan Gibson (Brent), Ben Gibson and Wes Gibson; his great grandchildren, Thorin Quarterson, Viggo Quarterson, Julia Dyer and Shepard Carrison; his siblings, Dean Gibson (Ina), Mark Gibson (Leah), Don Gibson (Lisa), Martie Young (Lyle), Connie Dean (Mike) and Beth Bonner (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Dale McLoud and Marsha Sims. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
