He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret "Joanie" Allen; his son Brian Allen; and his son-in-law Chris Jones. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Jones and Jean Ehmke; and his son-in-law Brent Ehmke. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Fred's memory.
