With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Bittle in Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Heber Springs, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2026 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Gary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Gary has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Billy Ray Bittle; his wife Susan; his daughter Megan Yoder of Searcy; his mother Eloise Bittle of Heber Springs; his sister Gail Rose (Roger) of Heber Springs; his nephews, Derek Woodson (Carly) and Matt Woodson (Kaylynn); and his niece Bailey Dearmond (Phillip).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Home for Healing, 4300 West Markham, Little Rock, AR 72205, where Gary and Susan lived for 3 months while he was recovering from his stem cell transplant in 2023.
