He was predeceased by: his parents, David Shannon and Jessie Shannon (Eagle); and his brother Mike Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his daughter Tami Thompson; his grandsons, Ssgt Garret Thompson (Rebecca), Lakenheath, Austin Thompson (Samantha) of March, ARB and Jacob Thompson; his great grandchild Kacen David Thompson of California; his sister Carol Lane of Memphis; and his sister-in-law Kathy Shannon of Pryor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
