It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Wesley Tanner (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact George Wesley had on those he encountered along his journey. Though George Wesley may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Bogle and James Tanner; and his sister Judy Tanner. He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Lavoie (Warren Lavoie) and Paullei Tanner; his siblings' children, Cody Eaves, Austin Tanner and Danielle Hoeltzel; his aunt Annette Wise; and his uncle Mike Tanner (Denise Tanner). He is also survived by one great niece and two great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the hospice house where Wes spent his final days: Clarehouse, 7617 S Mingo Rd, Tulsa, OK 74133.
